At Simbars we pride ourselves in utilising an extensive range of modern machinery and design facilities including the latest CAD software with the ability to transfer files by most formats.

TUBE BENDING

We are experts in the manipulation of mild steel and stainless steel tube using highly accurate mandrel type drawbenders.

This type of bending can be used on thick and thin wall tube or pipe and ensures a consistently high quality bend with full control over the process.

We have 3 NC controlled mandrel tube bending machines which have a capacity to bend tube and pipe of up to 150mm diameter.

The tooling for these machines is manufactured in-house using our DSG toolroom lathe and Bridgport CNC milling machine.

NYLON DIP COATING

We have a large facility for shot-blasting and Rilsan nylon coating by the fluidised bed process.

Metal parts are firstly shot-blasted in our automatic wheelabrator machine then pre-heated in a high temperature oven to 370°C before being dipped into a fluidised nylon powder. This ensures an even film thickness and a consistent highly corrosion resistant finish.

• Peddinghaus steelworker punch 38 x 25mm thick
• Amada auto bandsaw 250ø capacity
• Tube manipulation from 12ø to 150ø four mandrel draw bending machines
• High speed twin head compression tube bender to 38ø

• Shot blasting 2m table automatic wheelabrater
• Nylon dip coating 2.5m x 1.25m capacity
• Welding includes MIG, TIG and Bronze
